We arrive at one of the best ethnic hotels, which will accompany us for most of the program. The building itself is located 2 km from the center, so all amenities, architectural attractions and temples will be within walking distance.
Swayambhunath Stupa

Swayambhunath Stupa

After climbing 365 steps, we will find ourselves at the foot of Swayambhunath. The largest stupa with the Eyes of Buddha is about 2,000 years old. It is said that mantras chanted here have a special spiritual resonance and are heard directly by Higher Powers.

Parping

Parping

Parping is a town in the south of the Kathmandu Valley, which is the most important place of Buddhist pilgrimage, associated with the name of Padmasambhava— one of the founders of Tibetan Buddhism. This area is famous for the legendary Asura Cave, where, according to legend, Padmasambhava spent a long time in meditation. The place is also known for the Dakshinkali Hindu Temple, which is exclusively available for our group. Dozens of Buddhist monasteries, stupas, and holy sites are located in Parping and the surrounding area, as well as Tibetan settlements.

The next stop on our journey will be the famous Dakshinkali Hindu temple—a place that is truly remarkable, mysterious, and unforgettable. Nestled in the southern part of the Kathmandu Valley, this temple is dedicated to the goddess Kali. The shrine attracts many Hindu devotees, pilgrims, and of course, tourists, who are drawn by the vivid, unique, and original local rituals.

Pokhara owes much of its popularity to the charming Phewa Lake. Phewa is the largest and most beautiful of the three lakes, attracting a large number of tourists not only from other countries but also from within Nepal itself. The calm waters of Phewa Lake are perfect for a pleasant boat ride, with rentals available on site. By boat, you can reach a picturesque island where the Barahi Temple is located.

Bindhyabasini Temple
Bindhyabasini Temple is the oldest temple in Pokhara, Nepal, dedicated to the goddess Bindhyabasini, an incarnation of Kali. It is also known as the guardian of Pokhara and is considered one of the most important religious landmarks in the city. The temple is situated on top of a small hill and is reached by climbing stone steps.

Shanti Stupa

The Shanti Stupa in Pokhara is the first Peace Pagoda in Nepal, built by Japanese Buddhists to promote peace. Relics of the Buddha, as well as photographs of the Dalai Lama, are enshrined at the base of the stupa. The stupa is considered a sacred site for Buddhists.

Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave in Pokhara is a large limestone cave that serves as a religious and tourist center, as well as a site of interest for speleologists. It is renowned as a place of worship dedicated to Lord Shiva, where photography is prohibited, and is considered one of the main attractions of Pokhara.

Our cultural program concludes with Bhaktapur—an ancient Newar city located about an hour’s drive from Kathmandu, known for its abundance of remarkable architectural monuments. Often referred to as the "City of Craftsmen," Bhaktapur is considered one of the most noteworthy places in the Kathmandu Valley. Many believe that this is where the most authentic traditions and distinctive architecture have been best preserved.

Swayambhunath Stupa

Swayambhunath is also known as the “Monkey Temple,” as countless monkeys live on the slopes of the 77-meter-high hill on which the stupa stands. From here, there is a breathtaking view of the city. There is also a Tibetan monastery, where we will have the opportunity to talk with local priests and see how Tibetan monks live. Within the temple complex, we will be able to fully appreciate the sacred architecture, see numerous significant Buddhist statues, and even attend a meditation session with the local priests.

Shechen Monastery
Shechen Monastery is dedicated to fostering the spiritual and cultural activities of Tibetan Buddhism and to realizing the visions and projects of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, one of the greatest luminaries of Tibetan Buddhism in the twentieth century. He was a highly accomplished and eminent master, devoted to the transmission and preservation of Tibet’s spiritual heritage.
Lakshmi Puja
We will also have the opportunity to see and take part in the Lakshmi Puja ceremony, which is held during the Diwali festival to attract well-being and prosperity into one’s life. This ritual is dedicated to the goddess Lakshmi, who is regarded as the patroness of wealth, prosperity, and good fortune.

Patan
Patan offers a glimpse into the era when the Kathmandu Valley was divided into separate kingdoms, each with its own history, legends, and royal dynasty. Among these ancient kingdoms, Patan stood out for the beauty and elegance of its architecture and craftsmanship.

That is why the city’s other name is Lalitpur, which translates as "The Beautiful City."
Bindhyabasini Temple
This is a very ancient temple of Vishnu, located in a pond, where the deity is depicted reclining on the divine serpent Shesha with his many heads. Here, Lord Vishnu is shown lying on the serpent in His divine yogic sleep, known as yoganidra. There are almost no tourists here, but quite a few local devotees visit the temple.
Dwarka’s Hotel
Dwarka’s Hotel is considered one of the finest hotels in Asia. It is a complex of traditional Nepali houses with a history that spans centuries and features ancient architecture. The hotel is renowned for its dedication to preserving cultural heritage and currently holds a large private collection of wooden artworks. "Dwarika," which translates as "Palace," is a living museum—a luxurious and exquisite example of the artistry of Nepali craftsmen.

On our last day, we will be treated to a delicious dinner and coffee in the hotel’s courtyard.
